About Anchor Bay
Anchor Bay Insurance Managers, Inc. was founded in May of 2000 and began operations that September. The business is owned by Bill & Linda Tanner and is located in Silverdale, WA.
Initially we were a 13 state (AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA & WY) binding authority / brokerage and program facility but are in the process of evolving into a nationwide brokerage / program manager operation, with more limited binding capabilities. We have begun the license a pplication process nationwide and, by early February 2010, we expect to be licensed in states containing 85% of the nation's population, with the balance to follow during the course of the year.
We are in the process of setting up "Line of Business" Practice Groups, and are seeking experienced brokers in:
- Environmental,
- General Casualty,
- Commercial Property & Inland Marine, and
- Professional Liability
Additionally, we are pursuing various software development opportunities.
